Panorama - An OverviewYou will find Panorama Resort surrounded by some of the most jaw-dropping scenery you have ever seen and is framed by the majestic Canadian Rocky Mountains and the historic Purcell Mountain range. British Columbia is home to some of the best ski hills in the world, and although it is not as big as some of the more popular resorts, we think that Panorama is a hidden gem and one of the best resorts in all of Canada.
Idyllic LocationLocated just 4 hours from Calgary, you will find Panorama nestled in amongst the most idyllic setting, surrounded by rugged snow capped mountain peaks and lush green forest as far as the eye can see. The village of Panorama is compact and charming, with a grocery store and a brilliant variety of après ski restaurants and bars to unwind in and mingle with the locals. Action PackedThe resort has so much to offer and is fantastic for all levels of ability. With 120 runs over 2,800 acres of terrain, Panorama Mountain Village offers some of Canada’s longest fall-line cruisers, backcountry style skiing in Taynton Bowl and the Rockstar Terrain Park which is the biggest and best freestyle terrain park in the Canadian Rockies region. The resort is great for beginners who are looking to build their confidence on the wide open runs. But it is also an intermediate and experts paradise with the more challenging back bowls and verticals. ActivitiesPanorama has a huge amount of activities available from the village such as day trips to Lake Louise and the surrounding areas, Panorama Springs and hot pools, dog sledding, horse drawn sleigh rides and ice skating. Another cool thing that Panorama resort offers is night skiing, so you can enjoy an entire day on the slopes, and enjoy your favourite runs as they are all lit up by the moonlight. |
