Pacific Rim Whales & Bears

This exciting 7-day tour is action packed full of wildlife searching and picturesque scenery around Vancouver Island. You will embark on a once in a lifetime experience, capturing glimpses of wild bears and whales in their natural habitats, and speeding across the ocean by ocean cruiser and Zodiac.

Day 1 - Arrival in Vancouver

Arrive at Vancouver International Airport and transfer independently to your hotel. The rest of the day is yours to explore the vibrant city of Vancouver at your own pace and spend the day sightseeing or shopping. Overnight in Vancouver.

Day 2 - Vancouver to Victoria

By coach and ferry you'll transfer across the Strait of Georgia to Vancouver Island. You will then make your way to Victoria, the capital of British Columbia, with its maritime wildlife heritage and colonial charm. The second night will be here in downtown Victoria where you can explore the quaint shops and habourfront area or rest for your adventure ahead.

Day 3 - Victoria

Today you will embark on an exciting round trip of 50 to 80 kilometers on an exhilarating whale watching trip. Aboard a 14-meter ocean cruiser or a custom built Zodiac, you will reach high speeds across the ocean on a very intimate quest for the enormous mammals. Spend the evening with free time to relax by Victoria's inner harbour and re-energising for tomorrow's adventure.

Day 4 - Victoria to Tofino

You will transfer by coach in the morning to the coastal town of Tofino. Across Vancouver Island, you are venturing into true wildlife territory here: The Pacific Rim National Park, winding through ancient rainforests and provincial parks along the way. It is here in the beautiful town of Tofino that you will spend the rest of your day exploring and where you will spend the night.

Day 5 - Tofino

Today will be thrilling and adventure packed as you will be taking part in a bear watching expedition in their natural habitat. At low tide you will board the Explorathor, a 40-passenger vessel, and speed along the lush coastline to the bears' feeding grounds in search of some bear activity. Back on dry land, you're free to explore the rugged beaches along the network of hiking trails or to walk the picturesque shoreline of Long Beach. After a long day of wildlife searching you will spend the night in your Tofino accommodation.

Day 6 - Tofino to Vancouver

Depart Tofino and enjoy a scenic transfer back to Vancouver, saying goodbye to the rugged coastline as you head back to the bustling city. You will spend your final night in your downtown Vancouver hotel.

Day 7 - Departure Day

Transfer to Vancouver International Airport in time for check-in for your return flight home. Hopefully, you will have had a thrilling and action packed adventure, full of special memories that you will cherish forever.
